Chipped at head and tail of spine; tips of boards rounded and mildly worn; slight cracking to paper at hinges, though the book remains firmly bound. Gilt title and decorations on spine and front board, with the spine a bit dulled. Spotting to front board from old spill, but with no particular ill effect. Four-inch crease and one-inch interior tear to pp. 199-200, but otherwise contents, including folding maps, are fresh and clean. Item #851
