Signed, in black felt-tip pen, on the first preliminary page by five members of the Opry: Roy Acuff, Ricky Van Shelton, Porter Wagoner, Minnie Pearl, and Ricky Skaggs. The word "Sincerely," apparently in Acuff's handwriting, precedes the first four names, and Skaggs's signature is above and to the left of the others. Opposite this page, on the inside of the front cover, is an inscription in blue pen: "Pete--/Thanks for judging/our Diamond Awards/Bob Meyer/Pres. Nashville Ad. Federation/1991". Meyer was a longtime executive at the famous WSM Radio in Nashville. WSM has been the home of Opry broadcasts since the program's beginning, in 1925, making the Opry the longest-running radio program in U.S. history. Coming from three generations of Opry stars, the group of signatures is quite striking.
