This edition is a facsimile reprint of the 1662 London title "The Experienced Angler: or Angling Improved. Being a general Discourse of Angling; Imparting many of the aptest wayes and choicest Experiments for the taking of most sorts of Fish in Pond or River." Accompanying the facsimile is a 47-page annotated biographical sketch of Venables by C. G. A. Parker. Includes two pages of notes on other editions of the title.
